Don't be a Crash Test Dummy...

I was watching a financial 'expert' on
TV touting that the US debt is of no
concern and that all is well.

He's part of the usual suspects that
try to lull investors back to sleep
whenever they start to figure out that
a crash is coming.

Which made me think of crash test dummies.

You know, the life size 'dummy' that car
companies strap into their cars and then
drive them into walls and see how the
'dummy' fares in the crash?

Even though the dummies aren't alive - I've
always felt kinda sorry for them.

They are purposely being put in a position
to crash - one that could be EASILY avoided
if the dummy would just steer the damn car!

See, the folks strapping in the crash test
dummies KNOW what's gonna happen, and
that's kinda creepy, don't you think?

A lot of financial 'gurus' are treating the
investing public like crash test dummies.

But you're no dummy...

Don't 'sit in the car' and wait for the
inevitable crash.

Listen, the stock market has risen from the
lows of 2008 - in a rally that pros call a
'dead cat bounce'.

A healthy cat jumps and runs... like a
healthy bull market.

But a dead cat, well, just bounces no matter
how hard you drop it.

So after the 2008 drop, the market just
kinda bounced up on a low momentum move
up... and it's fizzling out.

I'm just full of the wierd metaphors today,
huh?

Pretty much ALL the major stock markets
mirror the US stock market when these
crashes occur... so this applies to you
no matter where you live.

The smart money is positioned to either
protect their portfolio, or actually
profit from any move down.

The dummies are strapped in, waiting for
the next inevitable crash.

Anyway, I'll get off my soap box now...
