Trick question...
What's the one time of day you
can jump into a Forex day trade
for maximum effect (and lowest
risk)?
Lots of people tried to guess
this, but alas, it was a trick
question.
The one time you can do it is
not a TIME of day, but a WHEN
you have the odds in your favor.
I'll tell you how to know that
in advance in a sec...
But first let me explain what
I mean.
See, one thing I learned a long
time ago is you should ONLY
trade when the odds are in your
favor.
The markets are always moving.
You can put on a trade ANY time.
And that is what kills more
trading accounts than anything.
Too many 'traders' are really
just action junkies...
...they want to roll the dice.
Get a thrill.
Hey, it's up to you. But I
trade as a business - I'm not
looking for an adrenaline
rush.
Go to Vegas if you want to
roll dice and burn money.
The secret is to stack the odds
in your favor BEFORE you pull the
trigger.
How do you know when the odds
are in your favor?
Well, I'll get more into that
tomorrow...
But for today, let me get back
to HOW to know the best time
of day to trade.
There's more to it, but here's
a simple calculation.
You want big RANGE in the market
to scalp. That's the difference
between the HIGH and LOW for the
session.
Ok, this is simple, but tedious
as heck to calculate. But it's
WORTH IT.
Follow these simple steps:
* take a years worth of hour data...
* calculate the difference between
the high and low to get the range
for every hour...
* group all the hourly range data
by time, hour 1 through 24...
* add each hourly group together
and divide to get the average...
You CAN do that by hand... but
unless you hate free time, I'd
suggest hiring a programmer to
code it for you.
Hmmm...
Better yet.
Tomorrow I'll send you a link
that explains the whole thing and
GIVE you an indicator I had
programmed that'll do the trick.
That's it for now... gotta go
car shopping.
Until tomorrow...
